RUVA: The Road to the Huron 10.5 Upgrade
In case you missed it, OSP is working with Huron to upgrade ResearchUVA (RUVA) to version 10.5. See below for the implementation timeline, running from now to the beginning of August.
Outgoing Subaward Pre-Submission Cleanup Starting May 1
Of the roughly 140 outgoing subaward records in Pre-Submission status, 51 have not been edited or updated since 2023. Beginning May 1, 2025, records from 2023 and earlier will be discarded.
ResearchUVA (RUVA) 10.5 Update - An Introduction
The process to update ResearchUVA to version 10.5 is underway, which will introduce new features and bug fixes for the Grants, Agreements, and COI modules. The OVPR Training team provided an overview at the most recent OSP Spotlight meeting. Continue reading for a preview of what's to come.
UPDATE: ResearchUVA Warning for Entity Research Security Review
The Creating Helpful Incentives to Produce Semiconductors (CHIPS) Act of 2022 aims to bolster the U.S. semiconductor industry, support national and economic security, and strengthen the domestic supply chain.
RUVA Weekly Down Time: Wednesdays at 10 p.m.
ResearchUVA (RUVA) will have weekly downtime on Wednesday evenings starting at 10 p.m. ET. for Huron Consulting Group to complete SQL updates. Downtime may range from 30 minutes to 2 hours.
Users in RUVA will be booted from the system, and all users will be unable to login during this time.
